Do you enjoy listening, supporting others and making meaningful connections?

We’re especially interested in hearing from retired health and social care professionals who want to continue using their experience in a flexible, rewarding way. By becoming an Association Visitor and donating your time, energy and skills, you can make a real difference to the lives of people affected by MND.

What You’ll Do

  • Offer emotional support to people affected by MND
  • Share information and help individuals make informed choices
  • Connect people with appropriate services and support
  • Explain how the MND Association can help
  • Keep accurate records following Association guidelines
  • Build relationships with your local branch or group
  • Attend support, supervision and development sessions

What You’ll Gain

What skills do I need?

Availability details

The time required is flexible, but we expect Association Visitors to commit to a minimum of 1-2 hours per week.
