Class mentors volunteers will support young people to develop their financial and enterprise skills at School based one day programmes. You will help facilitate a group of young people across varied age groups to undertake pre-designed task, and share their own experience to help bring the activities to life.

Tasks:

– Being a supportive and encouraging role model

– Support ( but not leading) the delivery of a pre-designed workshop with a group of young people

– Attending short briefing and feedback session

What skills do I need?

– Patient, encouraging and open-minded

– Comfortable in the presence of young people( but no specific experience is necessary)

– Able to communicate appropriately with young people

– Willing and able to get stuck in to support a group of young people

– Comfortable in the use of basic IT
