Alpha Care Specialists is seeking volunteers from all sections of the community with a wide range of skills, experience and perspectives to join their Board of Trustees. A willingness to support and engage with the Ethos of the Organisation is vital to its ongoing success.

Main activities/tasks:

They are seeking Trustees with good local knowledge of Enfield and a wider understanding of local issues affecting the community.

Trustee boards usually meet in the evenings, in general we ask you to commit to 2 hours per meeting for 4 meetings annually and you may need to attend other meetings if you’re involved in specific projects or to attend the AGM.

We welcome those who wish to engage in active discussion during board meetings and work with other trustees to set targets and evaluate the performance of the Organisation as a whole.

All Trustees must undergo a basic DBS check.

What skills do I need?

Whilst we do not exclude any background we are particularly looking for individuals who can offer knowledge of Charity Governance, IT, PR, Marketing, Legal and Fundraising although this is not exhaustive and we are always looking to diversify our Boards knowledge base.
